Having solely engaged in wedding photography, I decided to try something a little different.
Fusion is somewhat of a buzz word, that Ive hear banded about in creative circles for some time.
Its basically the mix of cinematic videography fused together with creative photography in the same package.
I had the opportunity to give it a try for the first time and I think that it turned out great.
It was shot at the beautiful Fforest camp in the Welsh countryside, which turned out to be the perfect location for what I was looking for.
I put this little feature together called Film Noir.
For those who may not know what it is, I pulled this description of Film Noir:
“a style or genre of cinematographic film marked by a mood of pessimism, fatalism, and menace. The term was originally applied (by a group of French critics) to American thriller or detective films made in the period 1944–54 and to the work of directors such as Orson Welles, Fritz Lang, and Billy Wilder.”
I’m looking to feature a little more video fusion in my wedding photography work and I think it will add a nice extra dimension for my wedding clients.
